Please know that we are committed to treating your personal information with care and will not disclose it except as set forth in this Policy. By using and visiting our Site, you consent to the practices set forth in this Policy.

How Grande Dunes Collects Information You Provide

We may receive information from you through the Site in several ways, including information you voluntarily submit through the Site. We may collect information that you voluntarily provide in several ways, including when you:

  • register for and use an online account with us (your name and e-mail address may be collected in connection with such registration);
  • subscribe to a newsletter;
  • participate in a contest;
  • respond to a survey;
  • fill out a form;
  • request information from us (your request and information we need to respond to your inquiry may be collected in connection with requests);

If you elect to receive certain additional mailings from us, we may periodically send you information about Grande Dunes, including updates, news, and newsletters. If you opt out of receiving mailing we will unsubscribe you from our mailing list within a reasonable time.

Please note that we will separately obtain express or implied consent from you before contacting you whenever we are required to do so by law (such as the Canadian “anti-spam” law or the Telephone Consumer Protection Act).

How We Secure and Protect Your Information

We take information security very seriously, and protecting your personal information is an important priority. We use several physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect information entrusted to us.

You acknowledge, however, that no transmission of data over the Internet can be guaranteed to be 100% secure, despite our efforts. Thus, while we take appropriate measures to ensure the security of information you transmit to us, we cannot guarantee that such information will not be intercepted by third parties.

Monitoring

To ensure that we carry out your instructions accurately, improve our services and for security, we may monitor and/or record: (1) telephone calls; (2) activities using CCTV in and around our premises; and (3) transactions and activities on the Site. All recordings are and shall remain our sole property.

Children’s Privacy

Consistent with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act of 1998, we do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information of children under the age of thirteen (13). You may not use our Site or provide information to us if you are under the age of 13. If we become aware that information has been collected about a person under the age of 13, we will remove and permanently delete that information as soon as reasonably possible. Your California Privacy Rights

California Civil Code Section 1798.83 permits Site visitors who are California residents to request that we not share your personally identifiable information with third parties if we know or have reason to know that the third parties use the personally identifiable information for the third parties’ direct marketing purposes. We maintain social media pages and accounts (including through Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, and Google+). Actions you take in connection with social media pages may be reflected in a manner visible to others; for example, if you “Like” us on Facebook or post a comment, others may be able to see that you have done so.

The collection and use of information on any of our social media pages is governed by the privacy policy of the applicable social media site or service.

We may receive personal information from a social media page when you connect through a social media feed, post content, or otherwise interact with us using social media tools. For example, we may receive basic Facebook account information through our Facebook Page(s).
