Ugly Sweater Party at Grande Dunes

Typically if you say to someone, “My goodness that is an ugly sweater you’re wearing,” that would be rude. But if you are attending an Ugly Christmas Sweater Party, it’s a great compliment.

Grande Dunes kicked off the holiday season with a festive party, celebrating what has become a fun tradition…wearing gaudy distasteful Christmas sweaters!

We especially want to congratulate Mrs. Zwiselberger, who came in first place for the ugly sweater contest!

While many holiday fanatics may find these colorful sweaters genuinely beautiful, most enjoy the hilarity of these outfits.

It also takes a lot of confidence, a good spirit, and a great personality to pull off these awesome outfits! Looking good ladies!

Telltale signs of the ugly sweater are an abundance of red and green, comically large depictions of snowmen, reindeer, and Christmas trees, and any sort of pom-pom or felt applique.

And of course, those reindeer antlers are the perfect addition to any Christmas outfit! Awesome!

Here at Grande Dunes we enjoy special occasions where our residents and staff can come together and be festive… eat, drink, celebrate, and be merry!
