Proudly Sponsoring the Myrtle Beach Community

May 25th, 2022

Grande Dunes is proud to support the local community through sponsorship opportunities. Giving back, lending a helping hand to those in need and contributing to charities is very important to us. We wanted to highlight just a few of our efforts to raise funds, generate awareness and take meaningful action for causes that matter.

25th Anniversary Gala to Benefit the Children’s Recovery Center

The Children’s Recovery Center pursues a very important and solemn cause. Their mission is to provide a safe environment where caring team members investigate allegations of child abuse while providing the support necessary to restore hope in children’s lives.

Grande Dunes was honored to support their work at the 25th Anniversary Gala on March 2, 2022, to raise funds for the Children’s Recovery Center and recognize founder Dr. Carol Rahter. The night included a dinner, silent auction, raffle and dancing. We’re so happy it was a successful sold-out event! The YMCA Golf Tournament

Grande Dunes has a great relationship with the YMCA of Coastal Carolina. After all, the Claire Chapin Epps location is situated right on our property. We’re always pleased to have the opportunity to work alongside respected non-profits, especially when it involves a favorite pastime: golf!

Hosted and sponsored by the YMCA of Coastal Carolina Hurricanes Swim Team, the charity golf tournament raised funds for both the swim team and the Learn to Swim Programs. The Grand Dunes Resort Course was the place to be on February 19, 2022, for both a great cause and a grande time. Congratulations to Dennis, Ben, Mike and Ryan for their 1st place win! The Taste of the Town

You know something else we can always get behind here at Grande Dunes? Amazing local food! That’s why we couldn’t miss the chance to support The Taste of the Town, which is the Grand Strand’s premiere culinary event and Myrtle Beach’s original food festival. Since 1984, St. Andrew Catholic School has made this event its primary source of fundraising.

The Taste of the Town features many of the Grand Strand’s finest restaurants, plus culinary awards, live entertainment and a silent market. Over the years it has become a joyful yearly occasion for community residents to bond, give back and try an excellent assortment of food. Both the Grande Dunes Members Club and Grande Dunes Ocean Club restaurants participated as Platinum sponsors, donating proceeds back to St. Andrew Catholic School.
