Summertime at Grande Dunes isn’t just a feeling, it’s an experience. A season of fun — looking forward to events on the land, sand, and sea. June marks the start of our residents’ favorite event, the Summer Concert Series at Marina Park.
Marina Park is the most picturesque event venue in Myrtle Beach, SC. The large 3-acre lawn space accommodates for hundreds of guests, encouraging a culture of celebration and inclusivity. Bring your own food and drinks, lawn chairs, picnic blankets, and fun energy for days filled with engaging events and a laid-back atmosphere.
Imagine, ending a day at the beach with family and hopping in the golf cart for a short drive over to the Intracoastal Waterway for good music, good food, and good people, all with a killer view. Enjoy a light coastal breeze, and watch boats launch for sunset cruises while enjoying yourself under the setting summer sun.
On Saturday, June 3, the Grande Dunes Master Association is kicking off the Summer Concert Series with the “My Kind of Summer” resident car show and concert. Have a car that you treasure? From a beautifully restored 69’ Ford Bronco to a 2023 Nissan Minivan (power to the supermoms!), we want to see it all! Browse some incredible cars, and sing and dance along with the Southern Kind band, a local favorite.
Work up an appetite and grab a bite to eat from the area’s most popular food trucks — Caribbean Jerk Cuisine (their jerk chicken sandwich is unbeatable!) and Rocco’s Authentic Street Food (get the tacos, thank us later!).
Did we mention all attendees will have the chance to win a prize? An event wouldn’t be a Grande Dunes classic without some friendly competition. Burn some rubber in our peddle car race and win a door prize that will take your summer to a whole new level. By the end of the night, we can guarantee that you will leave saying, “Now, this is my kind of summer!”.
