Now’s the time to plan your own personal Spring Break getaway in Myrtle Beach—and come visit us, too!
Every time someone returns to the Grand Strand, they always remark on how many new and exciting things there are to do and see. New developments. New restaurants. New shopping venues…the list goes on. And every one of these wonderful changes (ahem, like our new outdoor music and event lawn at the Marina) is yet another reason to consider moving here.

The 7th Annual Marshi Gras Celebration
Tuesday, February 13
Head over to Murrels Inlet for a New Orleans-style party like no other in South Carolina. The Marshi (get it?) Gras Celebration is a parade and costume party that awards cash prizes for registered participants. No costume? No problem. Area restaurants will be handing out accessories and party favors including masks, beads, and more, so everyone can get in the spirit. Those restaurants will also feature Louisiana-inspired food and beverages for hungry (and thirsty) revelers.
Myrtle Beach Marathon
Thursday, March 1 thru Saturday, March 3
The 21st Running of the Myrtle Beach Marathon is an annual tradition that attracts thousands of people from across the country. Actually, not one, but five different races occur over the course of three days. Our favorite, of course, is the Family Fun Run that takes place right here at Grande Dunes on Friday afternoon. We’ll be sure to host the post race party as well, so plan on running on over here.
If you’re interested in running any of the races (and you’ll be glad to know this is one of the flattest and fastest Marathon courses anywhere), you can find more information here.
