Managed by McConnell Golf, the Members Club of Grande Dunes offers an award-winning experience for members looking to enjoy world-class golfing, dining and social activities. There are always new things to do such as special golf events, new dining experiences, fun social events and even clubs within the club focused on your specific likes and hobbies. The clubhouse is a 27,000 square-foot property that offers a gorgeous view of the 9th and 18th greens. After the warm weather is upon us, now is absolutely the perfect time for new members to join.
Meet the Team
We spoke with Richard Convertini, General Manager of Operations and Meredith Donahue, Membership Director, about the Members Club and what everyone should know about being a member.
GD: What advantages do members have as part of a McConnell Golf club?
RC: McConnell Golf is all about providing an unsurpassed experience. Members can play on our par-71, private course and actually enjoy the game instead of waiting in line for hours like you do at many public courses. Another great perk is that if you’re a member of one McConnell Golf club, you have access to all of them, which are spread across the tri-state area.
GD: How does being a member contribute to an active social lifestyle?
MD: At the Members Club, there’s always someone new to make friends with. We’ll host a variety of events including pig roasts, white out parties – even a Mo Town night! They can even use the club as a venue for their own private parties. Our goal is to ensure that every member feels now only welcome at the club, but that it’s their favorite place to be.
GD: What new things are happening at the Members Club that you would like everyone to know about?
RC: We just implemented a brand-new program called Member-for-a-Month trial program that’s exclusive to Grande Dunes Property Owners. It’s a great way for non-members to see if the Members Club is for them and to check out the membership level that’s right for them. Now everybody can enjoy the fun!
GD: What is the Members Club team’s top priority?
MD: Everyone here at the Members Club prioritizes one thing – membership experience. From our chefs to golf experts, we all are dedicated to providing something truly incredible to the Grande Dunes life. The best part is that it’s a very welcoming atmosphere and easy for new members to feel right at home.
