Grande Dunes welcomes years of experience with new hire, Eric French

McConnell Golf and Grande Dunes Club Management are pleased to welcome and introduce Eric French as Director of Food & Beverage. Eric comes to Grande Dunes after serving as Interim Assistant General Manager at Charlotte City Club. Eric is originally from Dayton, OH.

Eric brings with him an impressive 25-year record in the hospitality and private club industry. He has held several management positions at various locations across the country, including Greenville Country Club, Blowing Rock Country Club, The Club at Las Campanas, Governors Club in Chapel Hill and Deering Bay Yacht and Country Club. In addition, Eric is a CMAA Certified Club Manager, is certified in ServSafe and is a Level One Court of the Master Sommeliers.

“I believe Eric will build cohesiveness, knowledge, and teamwork in the food and beverage department. He’ll provide a fresh set of eyes as well as new, creative ideas which surely enhance the superior level of service we strive to provide,” states General Manager of Operations, Richard Convertini.

In his new position, French will lead the management of Food & Beverage for Grande Dunes Members Club, Grande Dunes Ocean Club and the Anchor Café.
