Marina Park: The new heart of the Grande Dunes community.

Now that the days are getting warmer, you’ll have ample opportunity to enjoy Marina Park, our new public waterfront music & event lawn. A 2.86-acre verdant jewel overlooking the Intracoastal Waterway, Marina Park can accommodate several thousand people and will be the ideal venue for concerts, festivals and many other events both public and private.

A few activities have already occurred here, like the Grande Dunes Family Fun Run and the Shamrock n’ Roll festival to honor St. Patrick’s Day. If you missed those happenings, fear not. There will be dozens of upcoming events throughout the year, including concerts, movie nights, holiday celebrations and even an oyster roast—all you need to bring is a blanket or lawn chair! A full events calendar covering all four seasons is being created and the Grande Dunes website will always give you a heads up as to what’s happening next.

Oh, and if you have your own special occasion planned, Marina Park now has a new event space that can be rented. What would be better than to have your wedding, corporate event, or family reunion right here, with the warm water breezes and panoramic views of the Marina? But a place this popular will be booked early and often, so make your reservation now by contacting

We’re also creating a new space for kids in our community

Soon a new playground will be built at Marina Park. It will feature a variety of fun-inducing play structures to encourage kids to be active and interact. There will also be lots of open space for them to run around while neighbors meet and greet. The playground will be open to Grande Dunes residents and the public throughout the year.

Construction will also start soon on a new walking trail. The trail will begin at Marina Park and continue all the way to the Claire Chapin Epps Family YMCA, so lace up those tennis shoes and get ready to burn a few extra calories!
